The fact that a lot of conservatives are divided on the current direction of the Republican party isn’t exactly news.

As much as I would like to believe that, the polls consistently show that Trump has around 90% approval from Republican voters.

If the majority of attendants don’t like the direction the party is headed, I have to wonder why they’re still attached to the party? Why are they still showing up at events like this one?

Because it’s not just Trump. They may want to place the blame squarely on him, but nearly every Republican in Congress is enabling him.
