I am 100% a defender of slow reading. It’s a topic I’ve actually been meaning to write about myself.

That said, I don’t think it’s impossible to read 100 books a year while also being a slow reader. I’ve read 52 books a year the last two years, and I still feel like I’m not reading enough, because I waste more time on the internet or watching TV or playing video games than I do reading.
