I could be dead wrong here about how the term is used by most other people, but I don’t think of writers when I hear the phrase “content creators.”

Of course it’s a catch-all phrase, and could apply to writers as much as it applies to anyone.

But when I hear the phrase, I think of Twitch streamers, Youtube creators, people who are creating any other kind of media than writing.

A writer, in my mind, will always be a writer.
