I’ve been avoiding the trailers because I have very little interest in this movie — primarily because I have zero confidence in FOX’s ability to adapt the Phoenix storyline, but also partially because I have zero confidence in Sophie Turner’s ability to lead a movie. She makes an okay Sansa, but I don’t buy her as Jean Grey.

What you’ve mentioned is what I’ve heard from other people, that this looks more like a remake of The Last Stand than it does an adaptation of the comic.

I’ve even been told that they reused the same Dark Phoenix costume.
