I’ve only seen the first five episodes of Discovery, but I do plan to get back to it eventually.

My Star Trek education is also pretty limited. I’ve seen all of The Original Series and The Next Generation, but I’ve only seen about 10 episodes of Deep Space Nine. I’m having a little trouble getting into that one.

I just recently started watching Enterprise, though, another show that the fans have long told me is not very good. Well, I just finished the first season, and I loved it. More entertaining than DS9 so far, though I’ve heard DS9 gets better.

Point is, Enterprise has taught me to take the negative opinions of the fandom with a grain of salt. That’s something I’ll have to keep in mind when I get back to Discovery.
