I’ve started to find stink bugs in one particular room of my house lately.

Let me say that I do not like bugs. I’m squeamish around them. We live in very rural Georgia, and the bugs are everywhere. There’s a constant battle to keep water bugs out of the house.

The water bugs and the spiders can get me squealing like a fourteen year old girl. The mosquitoes just piss me off.

The stink bugs, however, I have found that I don’t mind. Maybe it’s because they’re slow-moving, whereas the water bugs will scurry away like a flash of lightning.

I can’t say I’ve seen God in a stink bug, but I do find them peaceful. I never kill them — I just scooch them onto a slip of paper and escort them back outside.
