The toxicity has not interfered with my enjoyment of Star Wars, but it has certainly ruined my desire to interact with the fandom.

It’s not just Star Wars, though. You’ll find a high concentration of that fiery vitriol in the SW fandom, but it’s everywhere. Just in the last few weeks, I’ve had to force myself to stop using Reddit because there’s just too much negativity, and it was beginning to affect my psyche.
